Aromatherapy Massage is a full body massage (similar to holistic massage) that incorporates the use of essential oils. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to aid relaxation and for many other holistic purposes. It is believed that the effects of essential oils occur due to the absorption of the oils through the skin and via inhalation of the oils through the nose and they are a lovely addition to massage*.

Body parts are only exposed when they are being massaged and then they are covered again.
Base oils are generally used, but wax and massage cream are other options.
